We are glad to present to you the 39th AKHALDAN I CHING-DAKINI CALENDAR,
showing the Chinese Year of the Fire-Buffalo (www.akhaldan.info).
This year starts on Thursday the 11th of February 2021 at 18.49 A.T. (Amsterdam Time) and ends on Tuesday the 1st of February 2022 at 6.10 A.T.

This year will have a lower quality (less stars enlightened) as the year of the Fire Rat

The Chinese star sign Buffalo is the Chinese equivalence of the Western star sign
Taurus. This sign is governed by Venus, the first earth sign, meaning: own beauty and
power, intuition, material for work, capital, patrimonio, lavoro manuale, possessions, singing.
The weak organs for this year are the Neck, Throat, Glands and Voice. To be intuitive,
receptive and meek and having a sensitive mind with a soft heart are the special
characteristics of this animal and of this year. The colour of the Buffalo is blue and the
tune is Sol ( G ).

The very earthly appearance of the Fire-Buffalo!
The Buffalo is the opposite of the anxious, pugnacious Rat (2020). Intuition
against curiosity. Meek (soft-natured) opposite pugnacious. Heart against the Mind.
So this year will be more intuitive, instinctive and therefore has less enlightened
stars then in the year of the Rat. It is moving more in the animalistic, instinctive
and earthly area of * and ** stars enlightened.

Deepening of the Universal Tao of this year
hexagram 37 The Family/the clan.

These lines are especially important:
Nine at the first place: A child in firm seclusion. No regrets
Within the family unit, each must know his place. Nothing is more easily avoided
and more difficult to carry through than harnessing a child’s will.
Six at the second place ():The wife should not follow her whims. A good wife is devoted and gentle, seeking nothing by force. By her perseverance she brings favour to all. Nine at the third place (): When tempers flares and one is too severe: Remorse. But good fortune, none the less, for to dally all day ends in disgrace. It is wise for each individual to have complete freedom within clearly defined boundaries. Six at the fourth place (): The wife is the treasure of the house Upon the wife, the family well-being depends. When income and expenditure are soundly balanced, good fortune results. This applies also in public life to a faithful steward whose measures further the general welfare. Nine at the fifth place (): As a king he should govern his family.
A fatherly man, rich in wisdom, does nothing to make himself feared. He is trusted
because love reigns. He does not achieve his ends by means of severity, but by love.
His character, of itself, exercises the right influence.
Nine at the top (): The master’s work commands respect. Order within the family depends on the character of the master of the house. He should cultivate his personality so that it works through the force of inner truth. If one is in this ruling position one must, of one’s own accord, assume its responsibilities.

Astrological deepening of this year:

We will experience many ‘Earthly’ days and with Mercury in Aquarius
from the 9th of January 2021 till 15th of March 2021. This creates Science meaning:
ability to analyse, to unify ideas, all-encompassing vision, all-embracing
understanding, objectivity.
With Jupiter and Saturn moving also in this star sign we will see a lot of
international happenings and social commitments. Jupiter creates expansion in
social relations, social work, support from friends, international relations and
communications. Saturn creates discipline, restriction in these areas. So really a
Yin-Yang happening.
From the 6th of November 2021 till 6th of March 2022 Venus moves in Capricorn (
intuition in the outside world). That is 4 months! This is in general not a favourite
star position, it makes the expression of love more difficult and disciplined.
From the 14th of May 2021 till the 19th July 2021 Jupiter moves through Phisces
which creates Happiness meaning: Bliss, overflowing love, deep joy, blessings.
